How Asụsụ Ọma uses your information

Asụsụ Ọma saves the information needed for your learning progress and uses Google Analytics to measure site usage and performance.

Progress and account

Your learning choices, settings, learning progress, and exercise history are saved so you can return. Sign in with Google to save them to your account.

Voice and microphone

Name recording is optional. It is saved on this device and, if you sign in, may sync with your account for use in speaking practice. Asụsụ Ọma asks to use your microphone only when you choose to record.

Issue diagnostics

When a signed-in learner encounters a technical failure, Asụsụ Ọma may save an account-linked diagnostic record. It can include the route, browser, app build, lesson, activity, prompt, submitted answer, tutor or speech request context, sync state, and error details needed to reproduce the problem. Passwords, authentication tokens, API keys, and payment credentials are excluded.

Android app

The Android app shows the same Asụsụ Ọma pages. Daily reminders are scheduled on the phone itself from your reminder time and progress, and nothing about them is sent anywhere. Android asks before the app uses your microphone or shows notifications.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics uses first-party analytics cookies to measure page visits, learning actions, and site performance. Analytics events don’t include your learning answers, voice recordings, name, email address, or account ID.

Your controls

Export, reset or delete.

Settings lets you export, import, or reset your learning progress. Signed-in learners can also delete their account there, which removes it and its data everywhere. How account deletion works
