Yes. Every lesson, folktale, game, recording and speaking practice is free, with no ads, no subscription and no paywall. Asụsụ Ọma is made by Ebenezer Don, and he keeps it free for everyone.

Asụsụ Ọma is designed for adult and young-adult beginners, including people starting fresh, people who grew up hearing some Igbo, and diaspora learners without regular access to an Igbo-speaking partner.

Yes. The onboarding flow lets you start from the beginning, choose a realistic daily target, and work through one guided step at a time.

No. Name recording is optional. You can skip it and continue. The browser asks for microphone permission only after you choose a recording action.

No. The app supports speaking practice but doesn't score or correct pronunciation.

Some activities include a spoken example. Use it with the written prompt to listen, repeat, and practise at your own pace.

Sign in with Google to save your learning choices, settings, learning progress, and exercise history to your account. Signing out doesn't delete information already saved there.

Yes. You can install the web app from supported browsers and devices for quicker access.

Asụsụ Ọma uses Google Analytics with first-party analytics cookies to measure page visits, learning actions, and site performance. Analytics events don't include your learning answers, voice recordings, name, email address, or account ID.

For signed-in learners, an account-linked diagnostic can include the route, browser, app build, lesson, activity, prompt, submitted answer, tutor or speech request context, sync state, and technical error. This helps the administrator reproduce problems. Passwords, authentication tokens, API keys, and payment credentials are excluded.
